— BACK AT THE GREENHOUSE

Nothing’s working. What started out as intensely sensual has become a comedy of errors. Joon is tense, and nothing feels right. Even their wet skin sticks together painfully.

“Shimatta, Leo, STOP.” Joon’s getting mad, even though he knows it isn’t helping.

“Look, Joon, clearly this just wasn’t meant to be.” Leo tries to pull Joon in for a comforting hug, but Joon smacks his hand away.

Leo starts to laugh. Joon is offended.

“Joon, this is just wrong,” Leo says. “No! I don’t mean that way. We’ve burned that bridge, gods help us. Let’s try something else. I remember, long ago, one of the crèche parents telling us kids that, once upon a time, when a fertile woman was ready, a fertile man could practically look at her and she’d get pregnant. What I mean is, it might not be necessary to go all the way.”

Joon brightens a bit.

“Come on,” Leo rumbles up at him. “Let’s just have a bit of a play and see how things go. She also said it worked best when both partners were satisfied ….”

Leo pulls Joon down beside him and they face each other, giggling nervously. Leo strokes Joon’s face, and then reaches lower. Soon the breathless giggles turn to sighs and moans. Neither of them notice when the hot wind blows in.
